Privacy Policy
Effective July 22, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Ivywild Media (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information in connection with our online ordering platform, the merchant console, and the Clover companion application (together, the “Services”). We provide the Services to restaurants and other food-and-beverage merchants (each, a “Merchant”) and to the customers who place orders with those Merchants.
1. Information we collect
Information customers provide when ordering
- Name, phone number, and email address;
- Order details (items, modifiers, quantities, and any special instructions);
- Fulfillment details such as pickup time or, for delivery, a delivery address;
- Optional account information if a customer chooses to save their details for reorder.
Information from Merchants
When a Merchant connects their Clover account, we receive business information through Clover’s authorized interfaces — including the Merchant’s business name and identifier, menu and item data, taxes and fees, hours, and incoming online orders — so we can operate the ordering service on the Merchant’s behalf.
Information collected automatically
We may collect limited technical information such as device type, IP address, and basic usage and diagnostic data to keep the Services secure and working properly.
2. Payment information
Card payments are processed by Clover / Fiserv, our payment provider. Card details are entered into Clover’s secure, hosted payment fields and are transmitted directly to Clover for processing. We do not receive or store full card numbers, CVV codes, or magnetic-stripe data. We receive only a transaction result and non-sensitive references (such as an order and charge identifier) needed to confirm and reconcile the order.
3. How we use information
- To transmit and fulfill orders and communicate order status;
- To send transactional messages (for example, an order-ready text) where enabled;
- To provide the merchant console and companion app, including new-order alerts and printing;
- To provide support, prevent fraud and abuse, and keep the Services secure;
- To operate, maintain, and improve the Services;
- To comply with legal obligations.
4. How we share information
- With the Merchant you order from, so they can prepare and fulfill your order.
- With Clover / Fiserv, to process payments and to create the order on the Merchant’s Clover system.
- With service providers that host or support the Services under confidentiality obligations (for example, hosting and messaging providers).
- For legal reasons, if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of users, Merchants, or the public.
- In a business transfer, such as a merger or acquisition, subject to this Policy.
We do not sell personal information.
5. Text messages
Where a Merchant enables text notifications, customers may receive transactional SMS messages about their order (such as confirmation or an order-ready alert). Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP; you may continue to receive service in other ways (for example, on the order status page).
6. Data retention
We retain order and account information for as long as needed to provide the Services, support Merchants with their records and reporting, and meet legal, accounting, or reporting requirements, after which it is deleted or de-identified.
7. Your choices and rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and you may opt out of non-essential messages. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable law. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We will respond as required by applicable law.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children's privacy
The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
10. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Effective” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
